Thanks for using Inventrix (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1) Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use Inventrix. You’re responsible for safeguarding your account and for any activity under it. If you sign up on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2) Use of the Service
- Don’t break the law, spam, scrape without permission, or try to disrupt the Service.
- Only upload content you have rights to. You retain ownership of your content.
- We may update, suspend, or discontinue features to keep the Service reliable and secure.
3) University Plan
Accredited academic institutions may use Inventrix under our “Free Forever” plan for non-commercial academic purposes. We may ask for reasonable proof of eligibility and reserve the right to revoke access for abuse or misrepresentation.
4) Companies & Organizations
Paid plans (companies/organizations) are coming soon. Any pricing shared in early access materials is non-binding and subject to change until a signed order form or checkout.
5) Intellectual Property
The Service, our trademarks, brand, and code are owned by Inventrix or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service while these Terms are in effect.
6) Feedback
We love feedback. If you send ideas or suggestions, you grant us a free, irrevocable license to use them without restriction or compensation.
7) Third-Party Services
Inventrix integrates with services like Clerk (auth), Supabase (data), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Canny (feedback), and others you connect (e.g., GitHub, Google Scholar). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
8) Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of any data, scores, or insights.
9) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
10) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we believe it’s necessary to protect the Service or users.
11) Changes
We may update these Terms. We’ll post the new date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
